Instructions for Completing the Application for Erasmus+ Mobility

Before Completing the Application

  • Please read the Erasmus+ Regulations carefully to ensure that you meet the prerequisites required for students enrolled in the Department of Economics.
  • Visit the Aulaweb platform, where you will find a list of partner universities, organised by country and by degree programme, along with their respective factsheets where available.
  • Select destinations appropriate to your level of study:
    • Undergraduate (first cycle) = Laurea Triennale
    • Postgraduate (second cycle) = Laurea Magistrale
    • Doctoral level = Dottorato di Ricerca
  • Ensure that you meet any language requirements (e.g. B1/B2 level certifications) as well as academic prerequisites such as GPA and number of credits required by the host institution.
  • Confirm the suitability of your chosen destinations for your academic pathway by contacting the academic coordinator for each institution (as listed in the official call for applications). For each destination, you must obtain and attach a signed Benestare (a formal approval form confirming the compatibility of the host institution’s academic offering with your study plan). You may indicate up to three preferred destinations, ranked in order of priority.

Please note:

  • If you are enrolled in the first or second year of a Bachelor’s programme, consult the list of Undergraduate destinations.
  • If you are in the third year of your Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a Master’s programme, consult the list of Postgraduate destinations.
  • Check that no circumstances may prevent your participation, such as deadlines imposed by partner institutions (application deadlines) that are too close to the official nomination period. In such cases, it may not be possible to complete the required procedures in time.

Completing the Application

Please note: Do not use a tablet or smartphone to complete the application, as certain sections may not be displayed correctly, which could compromise both completion and submission of the application.
The application must be completed in full and submitted exclusively online.

  1. Access the Online Services section of the University of Genoa (UniGe) website.
  2. Log in using your UniGePass credentials.
  3. Select:
    • Erasmus
    • Calls for applications to study abroad
    • Call for applications for Erasmus+ study mobility grants – Academic Year 2025/2026
  4. Complete the application in all its sections.
  5. Upload all mandatory attachments (failure to do so will result in exclusion from the selection process):
    • A self-certification of your academic transcript, ensuring that all completed exams have been properly recorded. If any are missing, you must request their inclusion in your academic record and recalculate your GPA (only the GPA reported in the application will be considered).
    • If enrolled in a Master’s degree, you must also upload a self-certification of your Bachelor’s degree.
    • All other documents relevant for evaluation.
    • The signed Benestare for each of the selected institutions.
    • Certified language proficiency documents (valid at the time of submission).
    • If you intend to carry out a thesis research period abroad, you must also attach, in addition to the Benestare (verification form signed by the coordinator), a declaration of compatibility issued by your thesis supervisor.
  6. Upon completing the form, you may either save a draft for later modification or finalise the application by clicking on “Submit Application” (Inoltra domanda). Once submitted, no further changes or document uploads will be permitted.
  7. You will receive confirmation of your submission via email, sent to the address specified in your application.

Additional supporting documents (e.g. language certificates) may be submitted in original form during the mandatory interview, although you may also bring them beforehand to the Erasmus Office for preliminary verification of their validity.

Important Reminders

  • You will be excluded from the ranking if:
    • You have a GPA lower than 23/30 (for Bachelor’s students), or 25/30 (for Master’s students);
    • You have obtained fewer than 40% of the total ECTS credits you could have earned at the time of application submission.
  • If you are enrolled in a Master’s degree programme:
    • ECTS credits earned during both your Bachelor’s and Master’s studies will be considered;
    • If you have not yet passed any exams in your Master’s degree, your Bachelor’s GPA (excluding the final degree grade) will be considered. It must therefore be at least 25/30.
  • If you are unable to attend the compulsory interview following submission of your application, you will be excluded from the selection process.
