Marine and transport insurance
The first level Master in Marine and Transport Insurance (MASMET) - run by the Department of Economics - aims to train professionals with the knowledge and skills required to manage insurance issues in the transport sector, in the marine segment in particular, with a view to achieving a more effective targeting of environmental sustainability models in the maritime and transport sector. The Master's programme offers employment opportunities in the various sectors of the transport insurance industry, from insurance companies to insurance brokerage firms, survey companies or firms and the legal departments of transport and shipping companies or shipowners, and finally also in maritime agencies or maritime management companies.
