Only students who have a language proficiency at least equal to level B1 (as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR) are admitted to the exam.
How to acquire the B1 level
1) Students enrolled from the academic year 2025-2026 must take the Assessment Test and refer to the ENGLISH PROJECT (info and FAQ on this web page).
2) Students enrolled in academic years prior to 2025/2026 who will take English for Business in the current academic year must demonstrate possession of the B1 level by bringing one of the following documents:
- an international language certification included in this list (check here), obtained after May 2023
- the certificate of passing the English B1 test obtained after the TELEMACO (Assessment Test September - November sessions) or after the English AT taken with CLAT (Language Skills Development Unit) December 2024 session (this result appears in the student record)
- for Erasmus students, the certificate issued by CLAT for passing the preparatory test (B1 test) for the verification of language proficiency for outgoing Erasmus students, not older than 3 years
- the result of the final test at the end of the online B1 course (see below), not older than 3 years
How to access the Course
Access the B1 online course with your UniGePASS credentials and by entering the password Economia_2024.
Important: registration closes 10 days before the test at 12:00 noon: it will be possible to register (access) for the TEST only if the B1 course has been COMPLETED at least one hour before this deadline.
