Study Plan Submission

The Study Plan is the annual academic plan for each student. It includes all compulsory and elective courses and other educational activities required by the degree programme.

Completing the Study Plan is necessary in order to register for examinations in the current academic year and, where applicable, for examinations from previous years.
Please note: you cannot take an examination unless the corresponding course has been included in your Study Plan.

At the beginning of each academic year, usually between September and October, you must include in your Study Plan the compulsory and elective courses for the year in which you are enrolling.
The Study Plan can only be completed during the official submission period and during any additional reopening period that may be announced.
After the deadline, you may complete your Study Plan only after requesting its reopening from the Student Front Office by email, in accordance with the specific procedures that will be communicated to you by email.

Complete your Study Plan online using the Study Plans function, available from Online Services for Students > Academic Career > Study Plans.

Please note: before completing your Study Plan, carefully consult the Programme Handbook for your degree programme for the current academic year, paying particular attention to the year of study for which you are completing the Plan. You are also strongly encouraged to attend the information sessions providing guidance on how to complete your Study Plan correctly and with full awareness of the available options (see below).

To complete your Study Plan on an informed basis:

  • attend the information and guidance sessions:
    - for Tourism Sciences, consult the Campus website and contact the Imperia Campus Student Office
    - for Bachelor’s degree programmes based in Genoa: visit this website
  • carefully read the Study Programme Table and consult the Study Plan for your student cohort, including the list of courses and their syllabi, paying particular attention to the semester in which each course is taught
  • consult in this website the FAQs and slides, which provide useful information for Bachelor’s students, particularly regarding part-time enrolment, Erasmus+ mobility periods, and the recognition of examinations already passed in the case of degree programme changes, transfers, and similar situations

First-year students who have not passed or have not yet taken the TELEMACO assessment

  • If you have not yet fulfilled the Additional Learning Requirements (OFA), you may submit a Study Plan limited to the OFA requirements, attend classes and take any interim assessments.
  • If you have not yet taken TELEMACO, you may attend classes and take any interim assessments, but you may not submit your Study Plan until after the final TELEMACO session.

Students enrolled in years after the first

You may complete your Study Plan only after completing the Questionnaire for assessment of the didactic activity of your degree programme relating to the previous academic year.

Part-time students

If you expect to take a reduced number of examinations, you may opt for part-time enrolment for the current academic year and include in your Study Plan only some of the courses required for full-time students.
